The Pact is a new EU-wide initiative inviting EVERYONE to take climate action and build a greener Europe. There are many ways to take part, and more to come based on the ideas and energy of the individuals, communities and organisations who want to contribute.
The Pact’s main objectives are twofold:
- spreading awareness
- supporting action
The Pact will connect people and organisations from all walks of life to improve our understanding of climate and environmental challenges and to develop solutions big and small. It is fantastic to see how local European climate protection projects are kicking off! To echo Christiana Figueres: “What 5 years ago seemed impossible now is unstoppable”.
